THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE
The Senior Manager, In-Store & Print Creative will lead the visual expression for in-store and print, incorporating the brand vision into every in-store and printed touchpoint following established toolkits and brand direction. Leading the creative, production and ops for in-store and print channels, they will create a seamless, connected guest experience for all campaigns & promotions. Collaborating with the One Creative Team (Brand Creative, StudioOne and all channels), this role will shape and approve creative campaigns & promotions, ensuring cohesive creative expression and brand voice across channels and platforms.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Team Management: Lead and mentor team of designers and writers providing guidance, feedback and support to deliver creative excellence. Motivate designers to be innovative & progressive through design, typography and creative exploration. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement that ensure development, growth, and career mentorship & guidance.
- Brand Connection: Ensure a unified and consistent brand identity. Partner closely with Merchandising & Marketing to support integrated messaging & campaigns with a focus on the guest journey and conversion driving behavior. Specifically, collaborate with Visual Merchandising to develop, define, and execute innovation in data driven & retail commerce trends. Create relevant design & messaging that connects and converts the guest.
- Art Direction: Ensure compliance with styling direction and lead pre-pros concepting for seasonal and promotional campaigns. Build on and infuse relevancy per channel tactics and executions.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the creative and implementation process, ensuring that the final store experience meets or exceeds expectations.
- Project Oversight: Manage high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Work closely with Creative Operations to understand complex scheduling overlaps to be able to foresee timing or workload conflicts.
Operational Efficiencies. Develop best in class ways to drive consumer behavior with world class creative including using analytics for data driven approach and identifying opportunities for Gen AI. This role balances creative oversight with process efficiency
THE ESSENTIALS OF SUCCESS
- 5+ years designing physical experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in creative, advertising, fine arts, or related field.
- Experience leading designers and writers
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing creative process, styling direction and strategic thinking,
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Figma.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for Ulta Beauty, its products, and its guests.
- Proven ability to bring design vision to reality.
- Ability to drive innovation, both in technology and in process, including AI exploration.
- Fundamental understanding of and desire to use data to evolve creative direction.

The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $146,500.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
