Forklift Operator
Kelly Services is seeking experienced Cherry Picker/Reach Truck Operators for our furniture warehouse client in Romeoville, IL. This job requires lifting 75 pounds consistently. Must have recent, solid experience driving the cherry picker and reach truck. Must not be afraid of heights.
These are contract to hire opportunities, meaning you will get hired directly after 3-4 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

Shifts available:
Sun/Mon/Tue 6a-630p: $22/hr.
Sun/Mon/Tue 6p-630a: $23.50/hr.
Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat 6a-430p: $22/hr.
Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat 5p-330am: $23.50/hr.
Duties:
- Operate Order Pickers (Cherry Picker), Reach Trucks, and Scanning equipment technology to locate and pick orders through the Warehouse Management System
- Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any Overage/Shortage/Damage issues
- Accurately identify units for storage or shipment
- Work at heights of 30ft and repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift
- Be cross trained and required to work in other departments as needed
- Perform additional tasks assigned
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 6 months of cherry picker experience. Must be comfortable with heights (30 ft.)
- Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift.
- Must be able to work on warehouse floor 8 hours a day or more.
- Strong, consistent work ethic.
- Comfort with scanning technology.
- Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus.
- Experience working in High Jump is a plus.
- Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
