As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing and managing patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary
• Documenting patient information accurately using EPIC EMR
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Requirements for this role include:

• Active RN license in Illinois or Iowa
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines
• Ability to titrate medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
• Willingness to work every other weekend
