The registered nurse is responsible for providing care, treatment, and education through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The registered professional nurse is responsible for care of patient’s ages: neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric taking into account patient acuity levels, ages, disabilities, and stages of development in the performance of his/her responsibilities. Nursing care is provided in collaboration with the Medical Staff and in accordance with objectives and policies of Graham Hospital. The registered professional nurse functions as the team leader of a designated group of patients. The registered professional nurse is responsible for directing the other members of the health care team. The professional nurse reports to the Inpatient Nursing Director.

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Ability to apply knowledge base of clinical variations associated with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Current Illinois Licensure

BLS certification through AHA required.

PALS or willingness to obtain within 1 year

The pay grade assigned to this position is 3200 for LPN and 4100 for RN; the link provided shows the pay range. Compensation InformationAll wages are determined by experience and skills; wage information will be discussed further upon interview selection.
