Quality Control Associate (3rd Shift)

What You'll Do

Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards

Perform precision measurements (down to 1/64th of an inch) and record results accurately

Conduct visual inspections for color, appearance, and defects

Test seal strength and product integrity of packaging materials

Complete detailed quality checks (including multiple measurements per item)

Identify and communicate defects quickly to keep production on track

Maintain accurate documentation in line with GMP and quality standards

Package finished products while maintaining traceability

Follow cleanroom protocols and PPE requirements at all times

Collaborate closely with production teams and lab coworkers

Experience in quality control, lab work, or inspection (industry or academic)

Strong attention to detail-you catch what others might miss

Comfort using measurement tools and performing repetitive, precise work

Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines

Reliable attendance and transportation

Team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
Preferred Background
-
Associate degree in a science or technical field (preferred, not required)

OR hands-on experience in quality, manufacturing, or lab environments

Experience in cleanroom or controlled environments is a plus
Work Environment

Cleanroom setting supporting healthcare packaging manufacturing

3rd shift schedule (11 PM - 7 AM) with 4-6 weeks of first-shift training (7 AM - 3 PM)

Work alongside a tight-knit team (4-5 people in cleanroom)

Combination of seated inspection work and collaboration with production

PPE required; fragrance-free, phone-free lab environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
