Associate HR Business Partner

The Associate Workforce & Performance Business Partner supports the Workforce & Performance Business Partner function through the execution of strategic workforce initiatives and management of day-to-day business operations.
This role serves as a shared resource across multiple Workforce & Performance Business Partners, helping to drive organizational changes, employee moves, internal offers, compensation support, communications, and cross-functional coordination. The role plays a key part in ensuring that workforce decisions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business priorities.
In HALO’s evolving model, work is delivered through coordinated teams and increasingly supported by technology, AI-enabled processes, and agentic capabilities. This role helps ensure execution is consistent, timely, and well-integrated across stakeholders.
This position is designed for an individual who is highly organized, operationally strong, and interested in developing into a Workforce & Performance Business Partner role over time. The individual will gain exposure to workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership decision-making while partnering closely with Centers of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation, and Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Workforce & Performance Business Partners in executing workforce initiatives and day-to-day business activities across the organization
- Project and manage the execution of organizational changes, restructures, employee moves, and other workforce-related actions
- Partner with Workforce & Performance Centers of Excellence to coordinate and execute processes accurately and efficiently
- Create internal offer letters and support internal movement processes, including promotions, transfers, and compensation-related changes
- Assist with compensation reviews, job changes, and related documentation in partnership with business leaders and compensation stakeholders
- Draft and coordinate internal communications related to workforce changes, organizational updates, and business initiatives
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Workforce & Performance Operations, and Employee Relations to ensure aligned execution of workforce processes and employee matters - lead workforce pods that deliver a tailored execution to internal customers
- Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and streamline business processes in partnership with HR Operations
- Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and emerging agentic capabilities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and support consistent execution across workforce processes
- Support execution of workforce processes in an environment where work is increasingly performed across people, systems, and agentic capabilities
- Assist with coordination and administration related to offshore workforce management and associated processes
- Maintain strong attention to detail and confidentiality in handling employee information, organizational changes, and business-sensitive matters
- Support preparation of materials, analyses, and documentation used in workforce planning and leadership discussions
- Leverage data to gather actionable insights and support decision-making
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- SHRM or HRCI HR certification preferred
- 4+ years of proven Human Resources experience, specifically within HR Business Partner or HR Operations roles, supporting business outcomes
- Hands-on experience with employee lifecycle support, HR operations, or business-facing HR activities
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written communication skills, including drafting clear and polished internal communications
- Ability to work across functions and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Analytical mindset with interest in process improvement and operational efficiency
- Comfort using HR systems, Microsoft Office tools, and emerging AI-enabled and automation tools to improve work processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting organizational changes, internal transfers, promotions, or compensation administration
- Exposure to HR Business Partner work or Centers of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, or HR Operations
- Experience improving workflows or implementing process enhancements
- Interest in long-term development into a Workforce & Performance Business Partner career path
Shared Leadership Expectation
This role contributes to a connected Workforce & Performance system, supporting the translation of strategy into execution and helping enable consistent, scalable workforce outcomes across the business.
Compensation : The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
