We already have initial clients, ongoing negotiations, and an enviable pipeline. We want you to take us to the next level: well be looking to you to build our entire sales motion, from outreach to closing.

This is a role for a builder. We need someone who can create the sales playbook from scratch, drive go-to-market strategy, and lead us into the next phase of growth. You will be highly hands-on and, at the same time, a strategic partner to the C-suite. The ride is going to be both exciting and unpredictable - youll want to be not just comfortable with but excited to tackle the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The opportunity This is a pioneering commercial role. You are building the function, not joining it. As VP of Sales, you will contribute to organizational strategy, long-term planning, and cross-functional execution, working in close partnership with the President and collaborating with the broader C-suite team. You will also work closely with Product and Engineering to refine positioning, shape the ideal customer profile, and translate technical capabilities into compelling commercial value.

The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, with deep experience in sales enablement and a proven ability to implement the structure, systems, and processes that empower teams to win. As you succeed and build our growth path, youll be directly responsible for scaling the team beneath you. We anticipate 6+ additional sales and customer success hires in your first year; youll lead that hiring, shape the culture, and develop the people.

The details - what youll own

• 0-to-1 Revenue Generation: Manage the full end-to-end sales cycle. You are our pathfinder for new markets.
• Sales Playbook and GTM Strategy: Build and own the go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
• Build the Team & System: Establish scalable sales and onboarding processes, build out our CRM from scratch, and own the hiring, onboarding, and development of the AEs and CSMs you'll need to execute at scale.
• Voice of the Customer: Act as the ultimate bridge between our clients and the product team.

The must-haves:

• Demonstrated B2B experience spanning Sales, Business Development, or GTM leadership.
• Full-lifecycle capability. You can originate, develop, and close complex deals end-to-end.
• Early-stage DNA. Demonstrated success building GTM processes from scratch.
• Deep industry fluency. A strong understanding of the PR, Corporate Comms, or Public Affairs landscape.
• Enthusiastic team player. Were planning to grow together for a long time; we care deeply about our team values and culture and are looking for team members who do too.
• People leadership. You have a track record of hiring, coaching, or mentoring sales talent, or a clear, demonstrable appetite to do so at scale for the first time.

Compensation $120,000$150,000 annual base salary plus commission, plus a small equity share in Lancea. The right candidate should expect commissions to be equal to or greater than base salary (new business, renewals, and expansions) with no cap on upside.

Initial salary offer will be assessed on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
