Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Provide specialized care to patients in a Neuro ICU setting
- Manage titratable drips as per physician's orders
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and techs
- Troubleshoot RT equipment as necessary
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Active IL license or initiation of the application process
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience with ventriculostomy, NIH Stroke Scale, ventilators, arterial lines, and tPA
- Proficiency in acute stroke management and post-craniectomy care
