CDL-A Truck Driver Home Weekends

10-4 Logistics USA is seeking a regional CDL‑A truck driver to operate dry‑van and refrigerated (reefer) equipment on regional and over‑the‑road (OTR) routes. This position emphasizes no‑touch (drop‑and‑hook) freight, professional safety practices, and dependable, on‑time service. Schedule is structured to provide regular home time, with most drivers home on weekends. Typical weekly mileage averages approximately 2,500 miles.

Compensation and schedule

• Pay: $0.55–$0.65 per mile (based on experience)
• Typical weekly mileage: ~2,500 miles
• Estimated weekly pay: $1,500+ (varies with miles and home time)
• Pay frequency: weekly direct deposit

Equipment and freight

• Company tractors with dry‑van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers
• Primarily no‑touch/drop‑and‑hook freight (approximately 70% drop‑and‑hook)

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Operate company tractor safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform drop‑and‑hook deliveries and occasional live loading/unloading as required.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required driver paperwork; comply with hours‑of‑service rules.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to company safety standards and trucking industry best practices at all times.

Minimum qualifications

• Valid, current Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
• Verifiable tractor‑trailer driving experience: 3 months within the last 12 months, or 6 months within the last 18 months, or 12 months within the last 24 months.
• No DWI(s) within the past 7 years.
• No more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No preventable DOT‑reportable accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical and drug screen; meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements.
• No refusal or failure of required drug tests.
