General Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
A Client of Insight Global is looking for a General Maintenance Engineer to support facilities operations at a 500-acre chemical additive manufacturing campus that includes commercial office space and an attached distribution center. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this individual will execute routine and preventive maintenance, close out tenant requests and work orders, and complete light repairs in kitchens and common areas across 20-23 buildings including a cafeteria, R&D space, conference rooms, and a nurses' station. Basic HVAC tasks such as changing filters and belts are part of the workload.
The ideal candidate will mechanically sound with 1-2+ years of facilities maintenance experience spanning carpentry/painting/patching, light plumbing, and low-voltage electrical work up to 480V, with strong competency in breakers and lockout/tagout. A rigorous safety mindset and precise documentation in a CMMS are mandatory. The standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m with overtime as needed.

Skills and Requirements
1-2 Years of experience within commercial building/facility maintenanceValid Driver's License
Basic knowledge of mechanical building systems, electrical, and carpentry
Experience with CMMS systems
Extreme attention to detail and proven track record of documenting maintenance repairs and following safety procedures Extensive experience with HVAC repairs
Experience with Famous 360 CMMS Software
