Medical Assistant - Front Desk Support

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Assistant – Front Desk Support to join our healthcare support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and handling insurance-related processes while providing real-time support to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-ups for healthcare providers
- Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical services
- Coordinate and secure referrals as required by insurance providers
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurance companies
- Provide live, on-screen support to patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Front Desk Executive, or in a similar healthcare support role
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, authorizations, and referrals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using healthcare systems, EMR/EHR software, and basic computer applications
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in US healthcare support or medical billing processes
- Familiarity with insurance portals and eligibility verification tools

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST)
