Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN with a specialty in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This role is within the Neuro MedSurg Acute department, providing care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and other neuroscience-related conditions
• Titrate Heparin drips based on PTT levels
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care
• Float in rotation with staff, providing skills within competency
• Supervise and support patient care techs, ensuring quality care delivery

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Previous travel experience and prior experience on a dedicated neuro unit
• Experience with Heparin titrated drips
