Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to remain on your feet throughout the day, and a willingness to work collaboratively with others. You will be cross-trained in various areas to ensure a well-rounded skill set.

Responsibilities

• Document received parts in the Receiving area.
• Perform manual Factory Resets by pressing a button.
• Conduct Automatic Tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs, with cycle times between 60-90 minutes.
• Execute Wi-Fi Tests to ensure connectivity.
• Conduct Elevated Tests for temperature assessment.
• Perform Cosmetic Cleaning and Repair.
• Participate in In Process Quality Control (IPQC).
• Assemble kits for distribution.
• Build pallets for shipping, including palletizing kits for AT&T.
• Ensure accurate shipment documentation.
• Scan parts at every step of the process to maintain accurate records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, pick, and packing.
• Experience in repair, refurbishing, and quality inspection.
• Familiarity with electronic assembly and general labor.
• Skills in soldering, using test equipment, and RF scanning.
• Proficiency in computer use, reading blueprints, and operating power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new facility specifically built for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located in Elgin, IL, near major roads and amenities such as gas stations and restaurants. This role requires standing throughout the shift in a collaborative and supportive environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
