Activity Assistant

The Radcliff is seeking a friendly and outgoing personality to fulfill the position of Activity Assistant. As the Activity Assistant, you and other members of the Life Enrichment team are responsible for providing a variety of engaging activities for our senior community. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OUR COMMUNITY

• Coordinate the daily life enrichment programs, while encouraging maximum participation
• Participate in developing activities that coincide with individual and group interests of the residents
• Set up and break down needed materials before and after programs
• Document residents’ participation and abilities to develop a personalized enrichment plan
• Order, maintain, and secure any necessary supplies for the department

QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding and appreciation of older adults
• Friendly and caring disposition
• Ability to communicate with a variety of persons including, staff, residents, and families
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long term care
• Completion of high school education or GED

SHIFTS: Mix of 9AM-5PM, 11AM-7PM Mon-Fri, and every other weekend
