Kitchen Staff
We are hiring an Evening Prep Cook to support light kitchen production, market prep work, and end-of-night sanitation. This is a hands-on, support-focused role that helps ensure the kitchen and restaurant are fully reset, organized, and ready for the next day’s service.
This position is ideal for someone dependable who enjoys structured kitchen work, light cooking, and being part of a team environment without the pressure of a full line cook role.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with light food prep for the market and kitchen (chopping, portioning, assembling prepared foods)
- Support small-batch cooking and basic recipe execution as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized prep and dish area throughout the shift
- Assist in Dish: Wash dishes, utensils, sheet pans, and smallwares
- Perform end-of-night kitchen cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Take out trash, break down stations, and reset the workspace for the next day
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards consistently
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Availability to work Friday and Saturday evenings
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
- Ability to stay on task and complete closing responsibilities thoroughly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Experience Level
- Light kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Basic knife skills and comfort in a kitchen environment helpful
- Training provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic
