NOW HIRING: Appointment Clerk Scheduler / Shipping Receiving Clerk

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Appointment Scheduler to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight appointments, communicating with carriers, and ensuring accurate scheduling within the company’s appointment portal. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and works closely with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to keep shipments moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate inbound (receiving) and outbound (shipping) appointments with carriers

• Monitor and respond to appointment requests via email in a timely manner

• Enter and maintain accurate appointment details in the scheduling/appointment system

• Communicate dock schedules, delivery windows, and requirements to drivers and carriers

• Send appointment confirmations and updates promptly

• Work closely with warehouse supervisors to align scheduling with dock availability and labor capacity

• Maintain an organized scheduling calendar and adjust for delays, no-shows, or urgent shipments

• Assist with shipping and receiving paperwork, including BOLs, delivery receipts, and logs

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards

• Provide professional communication in both English and Spanish

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or dispatch preferred

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and dock scheduling is a plus

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills (email, phone, and in-person)

• Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email systems, scheduling software)

Physical & Work Environment:

• Combination of office and warehouse environment

• May require walking the floor and interacting with drivers and warehouse staff

• Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload
