Kitchen Lead
Position Overview
The Kitchen Lead is responsible for food execution, pastry oversight, and back-of-house organization during active service. This role absorbs all former Pastry Lead responsibilities while maintaining lean kitchen structure. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on consistency, timing, and presentation.
What You’ll Do- Lead line execution during brunch and café service
- Oversee pastry finishing and presentation standards
- Maintain pastry pars and rotation systems
- Manage ticket pacing and coordinate with Shift Lead
- Assist with weekly back-of-house inventory counts
- Maintain sanitation standards and temperature logs
- Minimize waste and maintain organized storage areas
- 3+ years kitchen experience
- Experience leading a station or small team
- Strong organization and time management
- Weekend availability
- Ability to maintain quality under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
