• Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship, programming, and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops, activities, and events, during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year.

Serve as a role model and mentor to Premier Team Leaders and students in the Premier Scholars Program

• Demonstrate strong leadership to the North Central College community.
• Attend all required spring 2026 paraprofessional training sessions. Details of sessions will be provided by supervisor.
• Meet on an agreed upon schedule with supervisor throughout summer 2026 to assist in the planning and execution of the Premier Scholars Program.
• Assist with the summer 2026 Premier Team staff training.

Assist in the oversight and support the Premier Team staff to help build a strong team dynamic.

• Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above.
• Maintain a good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct.
• Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills.
• Ability to work in, contribute to, and lead a team-oriented environment.
• Genuine concern for incoming students' transition to the North Central College community and sense of belonging.

Must have previously served as a Premier Team Leader

Will this position be working with minors? No Approximate number of work hours per week Up to 40 hours per week when classes are not in session, 5 hours per week when classes are in session
