Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field plus 8 years related experience . Prior experience must include: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, focusing on increasing software development maturity and skills across the team; Define and drive the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goals; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to develop innovative solutions and deliver high-quality software products; Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions, considering factors such as performance, security, and usability; Make informed decisions on technical matters, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals and technical debt; Review and provide feedback on technical designs and code implementations, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $154,000.00 to $202,500.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
