Parts Counterperson at Large Toyota Dealer

Our Busy Toyota Parts Department needs to add a Team Member ASAP due to a promotion! Looking for a counter person to assist in the selling, ordering and delivery of automotive parts to our service department, and outside customers.

Position is paid weekly, hourly plus commissions. $40,000-$60,000+ annually dependent upon experience.

Our Parts Department is a well-oiled machine! We were chosen to be the Primary Point for the Toyota Parts Distribution Program, so Parts for multiple Toyota dealerships nearby are delivered to our location daily.

We are conveniently located minutes from I-294, on Dempster Street across from Home Depot.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous automotive parts sales experience preferred
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a dealership is preferred. Auto Parts Store Experience Also Acceptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have general computer skills and knowledge. We utilize a variety of softwares.
• Must possess professional customer service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid IL Drivers License and Pass a Background Check before starting in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the selling, ordering and receiving of parts
• Answering phone calls, and responding to emails in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor, tracking and receiving of parts orders and shipments
• Generating and receiving of purchase orders
• Tagging, processing and monitoring warranty parts
• Must complete all manufacture/dealership training courses and certifications that apply to job title
• Staying up to date with manufacture service bulletins, recalls and policies
• Must keep cleanliness of workspace
• Assist in general upkeep, and efficiency of the parts department.
• Applicant must be team oriented.
