Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, be comfortable being on their feet throughout the day, and have the ability to work effectively with others. A willingness to be cross-trained in various areas is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming parts and materials.
• Perform factory resets by manually pressing buttons.
• Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs.
• Perform Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests.
• Conduct cosmetic cleaning and repairs.
• Perform In Process Quality Control (IPQC).
• Assemble kits and build pallets for shipment.
• Ship completed products.
• Ensure parts are scanned at every step of the process.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for the entire day.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas.

• Hand dexterity.
• Punctuality.
• Experience in assembly, packing, repair, quality inspection, and soldering.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new facility designed specifically for our operations. Enjoy amenities such as a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located in Elgin, IL, just half a mile north of I-90 and south of Route 72, close to gas stations and restaurants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
