National Account Manager
- Account Management: Serve as the main contact for national key accounts, ensuring effective communication, client satisfaction, and long-term relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and growth within assigned accounts.
- Sales Growth: Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling, and introducing new products or services.
- Customer Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations, including executives and decision-makers.
- Revenue Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales, track key metrics, and ensure account profitability.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business and renew contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client satisfaction.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to develop effective strategies for account growth.
- Reporting: Regularly provide updates on account status, performance against targets, and key developments to senior management.
- Problem Solving: Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and timely responses.
- Travel: Some travel may be required to visit clients across the national territory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Experience managing Fortune 1500 accounts across multiple regions or locations.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software or sales platforms (e.g., CRM systems).
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- This is a remote position.
- Salary range - $85,000 to $92,000.
