Estate Planning Associate
About the Position
A 12-attorney law firm located in Northbrook is growing and looking to add an associate with 1-3 years of experience in trusts and estates.
The firm is a full-service firm with a sophisticated trusts and estates practice and serves a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals. The environment is collaborative, with experienced attorneys who provide strong mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Manage trust and estate administration matters, including asset collection, valuation, and distribution
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization, creditor protection, and long-term family goals.
- Prepare federal and state gift and estate tax returns.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings and guide them through the process.
- Draft a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate
- 1-3Â years of experience in Trusts & Estates law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate
- State administration background in addition to all trust drafting

Salary
- $90,000-$140,000
