Director of Operations

Metropolis of Chicago
Chicago, IL

Position Summary

The Director of Operations serves as the principal administrative and operational executive of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago. Under the direction of His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael, the Director of Operations ensures that all ministries, administrative functions, and initiatives operate in faithful alignment with the mission, values, and strategic vision of the Metropolis.

That vision calls us to deepen our unity in Christ, build stronger parishes, and grow the Church—a mission realized through five core areas: supporting clergy, cultivating vibrant parishes, inspiring philanthropy, increasing engagement, and dedicating resources to sustainable growth. The Director of Operations plays a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life by fostering operational excellence, organizational integrity, and a spirit of collaboration that empowers clergy, staff, and faithful alike.

The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership, organizational management, and human resources expertise to guide the Metropolis in achieving these goals.
