OverviewAs a Private Client Broker in our Risk Placement Services (RPS) division, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and managing a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering customized insurance solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
How you'll make an impact- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or industry segments. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their unique needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and account managers, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide clients with the most relevant and up-to-date information.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote RPS services.
- Carrier Relationships: Knowledge of E&S markets and products – appetite, guidelines, etc.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Proven experience in insurance sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the wholesale space
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, risk management, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Relevant insurance licenses as required by state regulations.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
