The Job at a Glance

As the Transportation Claims Coordinator, you are a key player in helping us optimize our outbound freight cost. You will investigate, process, and resolve claims for lost, damaged or delayed shipments. Logging and tracking claims and managing claim documentation. Run weekly reports, review address corrections and various other Transportation duties.

A Typical Day

• Review / file shipping claims (UPS, FedEx & LTL)
• Track claims progressusing Microsoft Excel
• Analyze daily damage report for insured claims and file when necessary.
• Provide recommendations on how to improve the process
• Backup to Load Planner position when busy or short handed

To Land This Opportunity

• You have exceptional organizational skills and canmanage multiple priorities simultaneously
• You are comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• You are looking to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (flexible hours).

The salary range for this role is $21.82 – $26.67 hourly which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
