The Position : We are looking for a Supervisor to manage and direct the hourly work force within the Industrial Wire Mill department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift operations of the Industrial Wire Mill department
• Supervise 20-30 hourly Union employees in assigned area
• Responsible for compliance to all safety standards, programs and meetings
• Responsible for compliance to all quality and production standards
• Interface effectively with other members of supervision and personnel from other departments and USW personnel
• Responsible for engagement of assigned workforce, safety, productivity, and quality
• Responsible for housekeeping, yield, and process control
• Other duties as assigned to meet Liberty goals and objectives as required
• Responsible for 2nd or 3rd shift

Requirements:

• 1 - 5 years of industrial supervisory experience preferred.
  • Consideration of supervisory roles outside of manufacturing may be a substitute
• High school or equivalent required.
• Assertive and goal oriented.
• A self starter with positive attitude.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
• Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and material handling is a plus
• Ability to comprehend complex machinery and problem solve
• Ability to multi-task and execute on decisions

PAY RANGE: $56,825 - $71,031
