About The Role:
As the Staff Accountant at Feastables, you will oversee our ERP system while being responsible for the detailed handling of our daily accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring each transaction is accurately captured in the general ledger. Your expertise will ensure that every financial transaction is accounted for accurately, providing a reliable foundation for all of our accounting operations.
Collaborating closely with other departments, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of Feastables’ financial performance to support informed strategic business decisions. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute across all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Identify financial opportunities and risks in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement Feastables’ financial vision and strategies
- Monitor and evaluate our financial performance against key performance indicators
- Design and implement robust financial systems, controls, and processes for accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial and tax reporting in line with GAAP and industry regulations
- Create financial plans that align with our short-term and long-term objectives
Recipe For Success:
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience within the Food & Beverage CPG industry
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes, controls, and systems in the Food & Beverage industry including COGS and inventory management
- Proven track record in analyzing financial data and crafting strategic plans that drive growth and profitability
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter mentality, comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with Netsuite ERP or similar systems
- Working knowledge of Ramp accounts payable tool is desirable
- Understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and legal issues relevant to the Food & Beverage CPG industry
