Power Restoration of Rockford is seeking a skilled and dependable Mitigation Technician to join our team. We specialize in water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration. As a technician, you will be responsible for on-site emergency mitigation, demolition, cleaning, equipment setup, documentation, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mold remediation

• Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)

• Remove damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation)

• Complete job documentation (photos, moisture logs, notes)

• Communicate with clients respectfully and professionally

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

• Wear proper PPE and follow company safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work independently

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces

• Preferred: IICRC WRT/ASD certified or willing to train

• Flexible availability – some nights/weekends may be required during emergencies
