Location: Danville, IL (Onsite)
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Performance Bonus

A well-established global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its leadership team at a flagship U.S. manufacturing facility. This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional looking to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while developing into a future HR leadership role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees at all levels, and serving as a trusted business partner to plant leadership.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary HR resource supporting daily plant operations
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Partner with leadership on workplace policies and HR best practices
- Support workers' compensation, leave administration, and HR compliance initiatives
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention efforts
- Utilize HRIS systems and Excel to maintain accurate employee records and reporting
- Foster a positive workplace culture through regular interaction with employees across all departments
- Spend significant time on the production floor supporting managers and employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or similar systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Union manufacturing experience
- Workers' Compensation and benefits administration experience
- Experience participating in HRIS implementations or system conversions

Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility to occasionally support different shifts as business needs require.
