Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a Flavor & Fragrance manufacturing company in the Northbrook, IL area, is seeking a 2nd Shift Reaction Operator to join their team! This is a great company and a team!

• Operate reaction equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to initiate and control chemical reactions.
• Monitor reaction parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven 2-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar production environment; experience with reaction equipment and processes is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
