Head Barista

Miramasa is a calm, modern food and beverage space rooted in balance, clarity, and everyday ritual. Alongside a focused espresso program, we work with thoughtfully chosen Ayurvedic and adaptogenic ingredients, used simply, respectfully, and without excess.

We’re looking for a Head Barista who enjoys craft, leadership, and building a bar program that feels steady, welcoming, and intentional.

Your Role

You’ll be the lead steward of our bar program, setting standards, supporting the team, and ensuring that both coffee and functional beverages are executed with care and consistency.

What You’ll Do

Own espresso quality: dialing in, calibration, and daily consistency

Prepare and oversee a menu that includes espresso, matcha, and select Ayurvedic/adaptogen-inspired drinks

Train and guide baristas with patience and clarity

Maintain recipe integrity, functional drinks are precise, not improvised

Keep the bar clean, calm, and well-organized

Support ordering, prep systems, and opening/closing procedures

Create a guest experience that feels warm, present, and unforced

Who You Are

An experienced barista with leadership or senior shift experience
Comfortable explaining drinks simply, without overpromising health claims
Curious about ingredients like turmeric, tulsi, ashwagandha, cacao, or matcha
Detail-oriented, reliable, and steady under pressure
You enjoy structure but value a human, respectful workplace
You care about how a space feels as much as how it functions
