Express Employment is searching for Grain Elevator Operators.
Location: Rochelle, IL
Pay: $18–$23/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, transfer, and store grain
- Monitor grain quality and report issues
- Clean and maintain bins, storage areas, and facility grounds
- Operate grain handling equipment and dryers
- Measure and report grain levels and quality
- Follow OSHA and safety procedures
- Perform basic maintenance and preventative repairs
- Complete required documentation
Grain elevator experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical/mechanical aptitude (electrical or hydraulic a plus)
- Equipment experience (forklift, skid loader, etc.) preferred
- Comfortable working at heights (up to 200 ft)
- Able to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dust, confined spaces)
- Physically able to lift, climb, bend, and shovel
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Agricultural experience preferred

- Workplace Safety & EHS Management
- Machine Safety Inspections
