Overview
Tagore Tech is seeking a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and manufacturability of our RF product portfolio.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Design Engineers, Applications Engineers, Test Engineering, and supplier partners to support product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle. A background in RF components and industry quality standards is highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform statistical data analysis on product performance, reliability metrics, and manufacturing data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
- Lead and execute product qualification campaigns, including planning, test coordination, data review, and final reporting
- Develop, document, and maintain product test protocols, including electrical test plans, reliability test flows, and acceptance criteria
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process issues, including customer quality concerns
- Collaborate with design, test engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality requirements are met across the product lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems, test methodologies, and documentation
- Support maintenance of ISO 9001 certification and the overall Quality Management System (QMS)

Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with Tagore Tech quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of industry experience in component quality and reliability; experience with RF components is a strong plus
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent
- Experience with qualification testing, reliability methodologies, or product validation processes
- Ability to write clear, structured test protocols and technical documentation
- Familiarity with industry quality and reliability standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, JEDEC, and related requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with failure analysis and continuous improvement tools such as 8D, 5-Whys, Kaizen, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-power RF components (PAs, LNAs, RF Switches)
