Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience with pediatric and psychiatric experience.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department with a 44-bed unit
• High-volume department averaging 200–280 patient visits per day
• Patient population spans all age groups: newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Includes patients with psychiatric presentations
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC, ENPC, and ECRN certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, high-volume hospital emergency department required
• Pediatric and psychiatric ER experience required

• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible for this position
