Location: Illinois
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $59,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience

Are you passionate about helping children achieve greater independence and success in their daily lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality pediatric therapy services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence, self-care skills, and overall quality of life. This role also includes educating families, recommending adaptive equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each child's development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and standardized assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor client progress.
- Educate and coach families on therapeutic strategies and home programs.
- Recommend and train clients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and agency regulations.
- Participate in treatment planning meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and support student clinical instruction.
- Participate in continuing education and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current NBCOT Registration.
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
- Infant/Child CPR and Basic First Aid Certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, TB test, and required health screenings.
- Experience in pediatric therapy preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy best practices.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays and physical disabilities.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client and family-centered care.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, transfer, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to work in an active clinical environment.
