Pay: $18/hr for 3AM 1:30PM and $19/hr for 2PM 12:30AM

Job Overview: Now hiring motivated Production Operators to support a fast-paced food manufacturing operation. You will operate production equipment, handle ingredient mixing and extrusion processes, and ensure high-quality finished products that meet strict customer and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow manufacturing orders to gather, measure, weigh, and document ingredients
• Load ingredients into mixers and blend according to time specifications
• Operate extrusion equipment to meet customer product specifications
• Manage product flow from extrusion, drying, polishing, and panning processes
• Transfer finished product using drums, carts, or trays
• Maintain production accuracy and follow all GMP and safety standards

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of recent manufacturing or production experience (food manufacturing preferred)
• Experience in mixing, batching, extrusion, polishing, or finishing (training provided)
• Ability to use RF scanners, hand trucks, sifting screeners, and common hand tools
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Strong English and basic math skills
• Reliable, flexible, team-oriented, willing to work OT & occasional Saturdays

Work Environment:

• Clean, regulated food production environment following strict GMP standards. PPE includes: uniforms, hair nets, beard nets, and safety shoes. Facility includes 8 production rooms and 4 packaging lines.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
