Inpatient Pharmacy Tech 2
St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician II to support our mission of providing world-class pediatric care. In this role, you will perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, contribute to medication preparation and distribution, and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 2, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, prepares medication orders, and assists in dispensing & transporting medications. This position also conducts sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, uses various automated/electronic systems and maintains the required documentation & records.
Responsibilities
- Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
- Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
- Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
- Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
- Pursues proficiency in compounding sterile preparations and/or other advanced skills.
