Imagine stepping onto the production floor in Mundelein, IL, ready to bring precision, safety, and quality to every run. You power up the sorting line, verify settings against work instructions, and keep a sharp eye on the output so only in-spec product moves forward. By the end of the shift, you’ve logged accurate production data, packaged finished goods, and left your area spotless and ready for the next day.

What You’ll Do in a Typical Shift

• Start up, operate, and shut down sorting machinery following company procedures and safety practices.
• Continuously monitor equipment to maintain quality and throughput; address minor faults and keep the line running efficiently.
• Inspect sorted items, remove defects, and ensure products meet defined specifications.
• Package completed product into cartons once sorting is finished.
• Record accurate production data (quantities, downtime, malfunctions) and complete all required documentation fully and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and uphold 5S standards.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures; perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation, Schedule, and Location

• Pay: $19.50 per hour plus a $2.50 shift differential
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
• Work Location: Onsite – Mundelein, IL 60060

Qualifications

• Education: None required
• Experience: Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial sorting equipment

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
