Job Description
Job Description
Analytical Laboratory Technologist
Location: East St. Louis
Employment Term: 2-year contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime to support business needs and training
Reports To: Quality Systems Manager
Compensation: $27–$29 per hour
A day in this roleYou arrive to the East St. Louis site ready to ensure every product leaving our facilities meets exacting standards. You review the day’s queue of samples, don your PPE, and begin by preparing solids and liquids—carefully weighing, filtering, drying, grinding, digesting, and performing extractions. You follow SOPs to the letter, run wet chemistry analyses, interpret results, and compile meticulous records. Where required, you generate Certificates of Analysis, so customers receive documentation they can trust.
Between runs, you keep instruments humming by performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance. A production question comes in about a quality deviation—you assist with troubleshooting, collaborating across operations to pinpoint root causes. You also keep the lab supplied, tracking inventory and ordering what’s needed. When demand spikes, you step in as backup for the Chemist, helping the team hit deadlines and exceed expectations.

- Regularly sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Occasionally lift or move items up to 55 lbs
