Purchasing Coordinator

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. This individual will support procurement operations by coordinating supplier quote requests, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely material delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced purchasing environment while collaborating closely with project managers and inventory teams.

This position has opened due to increased workload and purchasing activity, creating the need for additional support within the supply chain team.

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Prepare specifications and send supplier inquiries and quote requests

• Issue purchase orders and assist with expediting orders to ensure on-time delivery

• Conduct bid analysis and support invoice auditing for purchased materials

• Maintain purchasing documentation including bid requests, material requisitions, purchase orders, logs, reports, and tracking metrics

• Support cost control, change management, and procurement scheduling activities

• Collaborate with the Inventory team to maintain accurate pricing, stock levels, releases, and order status within the ERP system

• Ensure contract administration procedures are followed and executed professionally

Purchasing Coordinator Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Business Administration

• 1–2 years of purchasing experience required

• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred

• ERP system experience preferred (Jobscope experience is a plus)

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a target pay rate of $22–$23 per hour, with flexibility up to $25 per hour depending on experience, and the role offers medical, dental and vision insurance. The position requires completion of a drug screen and background check prior to employment. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, fully onsite.
