Respiratory Therapist - Nights/Evenings
Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sign on Bonus: $25,000
Position : Respiratory Therapist RRT - Nights/Evenings
Location : Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL
Full time: 40 hours per week or 36 hours per week available/every other weekend required
Hours : mix of 8hr and 12hr shifts for 40 hours per week. 7:00pm-7:30am and 11:00pm - 7:30am. 36 hours per week would be 7:00pm -7:30am shifts only.

What you will do:
Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Covenant Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Hospital.
Conducts respiratory care assessment of the patient, creates a plan of action based on approved guidelines and/or protocols, communicates with the appropriate nurse and physician and then implements a respiration care program for the patient.
Documents all respiratory care related procedures in a concise and complete manner.
Assembles, installs, maintains and adjusts ventilatory equipment based on patient status.
Participates in invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.
Participates as a member of the Code Blue Team.
Completes other related assignments as directed by department management.
What you will need:
Education : Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory therapy granting eligibility to take exams given by the National Board for Respiratory Care or Registered or Certified by the N.B.R.C.
Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure, required .
Certification : Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, required .
Experience : 6 months of Previous RRT experience, preferred.
