Job Title: ITAD Repair Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented ITAD Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves working hands-on with electronic goods to ensure their proper functionality and appearance. You will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, testing, and setting up various electronic devices and components.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and cleaning of laptops and equipment.
• Test products, cords, and plugs for functionality.
• Inspect cords, plugs, and conduct data wiping and imaging.
• Sort and inspect boxes of products.
• Set up devices following provided instructions.
• Power electronic goods and perform tests according to instructions.
• View and interpret pick sheets and order sheets.
• Track product inventory using computer systems.
• Log and track inventory and parts on logs.

Essential Skills

• Experience with warehouse operations such as picking, loading, and unloading.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to operate iPads and smartphones.

Work Environment

This position is set in a secure, closed-off section of the warehouse known as ITAD. The environment resembles a lab-like setting where you will work with electronic goods in a detailed and structured manner.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAROL STREAM, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
