Vista Medical Center is seeking a certified Ultrasound Technician to join our Imaging Services team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic sonographic procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.

• Operate ultrasound equipment effectively, maintaining image quality and equipment functionality.

• Prepare and position patients for exams while providing clear communication and emotional support.

• Work closely with radiologists to review images and provide technical impressions when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards.

• Participate in departmental quality assurance and continuing education activities.

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

• ARDMS certification required (with at least one specialty such as OB/GYN, Abdomen, or Vascular).

• Current BLS certification.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and image quality.
