Waste Sales Representative
Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is seeking a Waste Sales Representative to join their safety conscious team! The Sales Rep is dedicated entirely to Business Development and will focus on generating profitable revenue growth for all our waste management lines of business within Clean Harbors and Safety-Kleen. There is no book of business established.

This is a 100% Business Development "Hunter" role. Territory is Northern, IL and Wisconsin.

Competitive compensation: $75,000-$85,000 base salary (based on experience) + commission structure. First year projected income is $120K+ Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner always.

Generate revenue growth for all lines of business; Safety Kleen, Clean Harbors Field Services, Technical Services and Bulk Services) (SKE CWS, TS Drum, TS Clean Pack) etc.

Using methods such as cold calling, networking, internal and external leads etc.

Revenue growth must meet target Company goals and must be consistent from year to year, including meeting and exceeding outside revenue expectations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Drive new and profitable business through cold calling, networking, internal and external leads, existing customers and other associated methods.

Work with Sales leadership and others in formulating, developing, prioritizing, and implementing market strategies, market penetration, and business goals.

Attend Business Development Meetings, District Sales meetings, Branch Meetings and conference calls to maximize communication to local Sales Representatives.

Ensure that a specific business development strategy that includes a plan to clearly define each customer's non-price value proposition is developed and employed.

Communicate with all local Business Development agents (Sales Representatives and Account Managers) regarding specific line of business capabilities to ensure that the Agent can effectively communicate the advantages we provide versus the competitors' services.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years of environmental industry and/or sales experience.

Experience with waste determination and waste disposal technologies or highly preferred.

Experience in business development, revenue enhancement and market penetration required through all resources.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills.

Weekly territory travel is necessary with overnight travel expected, as required (Approx 30% travel)

Familiarity with a CRM program is highly preferred (sales force is an added bonus).
