Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school social worker position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year in an elementary school setting, serving students in grades K-3. This contract role involves supporting a caseload of 20-30 students, providing critical social and emotional services to enhance their educational experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Social Service Worker (SSW) certification
• Professional Educator License (PEL)

Job Details:

• Location: Round Lake, IL
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• End Date: May 30, 2026
• Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
• Caseload Size: 20-30 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans addressing students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive environment
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Facilitate group and individual sessions to promote student well-being and academic success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
