About the Role:
Join Greenwood Dental Care PLLC as a Patient Care Coordinator and be the welcoming face of our practice! In this vital role, you'll ensure a seamless patient experience while supporting our dedicated dental team in providing top-notch care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage patient scheduling and confirm appointments to optimize office workflow.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Coordinate communication between patients and dental staff to enhance care delivery.
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory for efficient operations.
- Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for improving patient services.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dental setting required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered demeanor.
- Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and billing is advantageous.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
