Genesis of Schaumburg is looking for Journeyman Technicians to join our growing team! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Genesis Automotive Technician with journeyman-level expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Genesis vehicles, as well as a passion for delivering top-notch service.

Journeyman - $30 - $45 flat rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and performing work on multiple car lines including Genesis.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Requirements for Eligibility :

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Clean driving record
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• 19 years of age or older.
