ABOUT THE ROLE

Albert Uster Imports is seeking a Distribution Associate to join our team!

The Company is looking for someone who will contribute to a positive Company culture by maintaining an upbeat, cooperative morale and exhibiting a "can-do" attitude. Albert Uster Imports is a service driven Company where delivering on-time, complete and error-free orders is critical to the long-term success of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, outbound and parcels order processing.
• Picking orders for both parcels and LTL's
• Ability to pack fragile products for shipping.
• Process parcels via UPS WorldShip and FED-EX.
• Palletizing LTL orders for safe transportation.
• Perform Cycle counting.
• Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes orders.
• Utilizes computer to print required shipping documents.
• Identifies damaged and expired products.
• Follow all security and safety procedures established by the Company.
• Assists with warehouse cleanup.
• Reviews in-coming sales orders and advises Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager of errors and questions and assists in resolutions when appropriate.
• Other duties as required by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Receiving experience.
• 2+ year inventory control / cycle count experience.
• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Storing, packing, shipping & receiving experience.
• Experience unloading truck.
• FIFO experience.
• Experience cross checking inventory and receiving paperwork.
• Ability to work in freezing temperatures as needed.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow job procedures and manage instructions.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Three years' warehouse experience, packing experience.
• Familiar with UPS WorldShip and FED-EX.
• Familiar with scan guns.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Fork-lift/pallet jack experience a plus.

SALARY RANGE

Albert Uster Imports hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways AUI does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $18.50 an hour.

This role will be bonus eligible.

Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion, the salary offered.
