Pre-Service Specialist

Responsible for coordinating patient scheduling, updating and verifying insurance information, and ensuring all required authorizations and medical necessity checks are completed. Managed patient check-in and check-out processes while providing excellent customer service. Communicated with patients regarding potential financial responsibilities and assisted in maintaining accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years customer service experience.
Proficient in typing.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree.
Healthcare Finance and/or Healthcare Insurance Knowledge.
Experience in a healthcare setting, especially patient scheduling and/or registration.
Coding Certification.
Certified Healthcare Associate Designation (NAHAM)
